Looking for some more filthy bootlegs of some recent hits - and found this one of Prayer In C, from Niels Van Gogh - yep, the man behind Pulverturm from years ago - the breakdown in the mid of this track is pretty intense! Unexpected I think!!!

I've used this in my Eclectic Headfuck mix that I've done this evening - which is available here and on Mixcloud - this is one of the best remixes of Candi Staton's iconic anthem I've heard in a very long time, perfect for an early set - which is rather convenient!!!

There is so much good material out there right now for my Autumn mix which I'm going to be doing on Friday evening - this is one which is a strong contender to start out my mix - though if I don't use this version then the Club Rub is a very strong candidate - am in the process of thinking just where I want to take this season's mix!
Taking Control
Evening all,
Don't try to picture this but I'm currently in the bath after a day trying to recover from a bout of Diarrhoea which came on late last night - and which caused me to miss work today. Now, you might wonder why on earth I've started out with a medical update when the name of the article is what it is, well that's because up to a few years ago the very idea of taking a sick day was completely alien to me - which although rather noble wouldn't do me any favours at work. In a job where the slightest error can cost the business a fortune - I would be guilty of slight errors when I was not 100% on form and so causing me more hassle than was really necessary in the first place. Nowadays, I will not risk coming into work if I'm not on form - it's just not worth it.
When it comes to djing however, it's a completely different ball game!!

A Quick Thought
This is fucking madness isn't it. I have just had the pleasure of listening to Question Time on the radio and fuck me, it's fucking depressing listening.
What is it with people in this country right now? Now, I know that people are very much turned off by politics in the country at the moment but that is no reason for you to be putting all your fucking eggs in to the UKIP basket.

The Last Weekend
Good evening,
Been a good last couple of days for me. The outlook that I am thinking about does seem to be heading in a different direction than it seemed to be going for the last months and so that's a great thing to be experiencing. There does seem to be a stabilisation in my life which I have been without recently, so I can think a lot more clearly than I have been of late and that is not a bad thing let's be fucking honest about that!
Had a brilliant weekend firstly playing at the Secret Garden near Ashford which was and rewarding in my eyes - need to remember to get in contact with the owners of that place as thee does seem to be the likelihood of further work there in the coming weeks and months which would be welcomed!
Also had to say au revoir to Semelino and his lovely Jade as they head to South East Asia for the next few months leaving me in charge of the business whilst they are abroad which is something that I am very much looking forward to getting my teeth into!!
Well, I'm tired and need to get to bed, so will talk tomorrow!!
